Gret says the idea of a conquering hero who comes back with his enemies in the train is wrong. He thinks we're supposed to defeat every one of those in our own time and just move the ball forward on that mission, such that when he returns, they are vanquished foes already on his train. I mean, it's a different kind of view of the end of the world that i think is what we're called to be a part of.
