How to Metapolize Grief in a Novel

The protagonist has recently lost her father at the outsite of the book, and that' kind of in the motivating incident that sends her to this job in the netherlands. And i'm curious, i know you've spoken a little bit before about your own father, and i'm just, i wanted to ask you where, where that in your life lives in this project. Am, it's interesting, because i think something i think about a lot is how writers metapolize events in their own lives, and how quickly or slowly they meetapolize hem. And i think i've just realized that i do it incredibly slowly.
