What Is Cystic Fibrosis?

Bob Greene: cystic fibrosis is a genetic disease. He says it affects one particular gene in the body called the CFTR gene. It's role is to make sure that chloride or salt is able to move smoothly through the cells of the body, he says. Greene: For myself, I have what's called the Delta F five - there's a frat party in my body and they're going off every day.
