The Power of Desire and Craving
The word desire in english has a wide range of meanings. One meaning is that of greed, of clinging, of craving. But we also use that word simply to describe a motivation to do something. Sometimes these motivations to act are based on skilful tings, sometimes unskilful. To night, i'm going to be using desire synonymously with craving, that that force in the mind rooted in greed and in grasping. Just keep in mind that desire can also mean other things, so don't get confused by that.
