Caleb DePair's Story

Caleb Harrison was two and a half times over the legal alcohol limit at the time of the collision. He collided head-on with a taxi carrying four passengers, resulting in a catastrophic crash. Those involved sustained serious injuries, including many broken bones, and one passenger had been scalped. Caleb claimed that Melissa attacked him first by scratching and hitting him, and his actions were done in self-defence. In June 2005, Melissa called the police on Caleb. This incident officially signaled the end of his marriage.
