So basically the first generation to use iPhones from childhood onwards are miserable. That was a turning point for sleep deprivation also related to technology use. Tons of studies on that. Smartphones in particular, because they're small, can be carried into the bedroom and they end up interfering with sleep. Less around the time teens started spending, less time sleeping, less time with their friends face to face. No matter why, you know, even if you kind of don't even think about the direct effects of social media or smartphones, that alone, less sleep
