The Blue Men and the Tattooed Pits

Scottish folklorist Donald A. Mackenzie who lived 1873 through 1936 was kind of the individual who really popularized this hypothesis. Today I think there's some individuals who think that the true origin might just be accounts of the Tuareg people of the Saharan Africa That traveled, you know some sort of communication of this idea.
