How to Be a Consultant for a Nonprofit
Ask about their goals. Ask them about what did they want to get accomplished? What are their priorities? And are there any kind of tasks that have a deadline? Really important to know, hey, do you need this in four weeks? And can we efficiently make that deadline? Because doing this type of work where you're doing altrics for good as a consultancy approach, that's actually where you need to bring to it the mind of a consultant. It's what we call risk management. We need to know is anything not working? And how do we fix that? How do we get this back on track?
