Zachary: Josh has offered a very sobering account of what's happening in China. Does that offer us a pathway forward or does that become an excuse for doing nothing? Zachary: I think there's actually a phenomenon that could have a big impact on this, which is the experience of protesting. He says evidence shows that once you go to your first protest, you're much more likely to go to your second protest in your third course.
