I think probably in ten, 15 years, rhythm control will be first line. Chemical cardiversion takes time and you kno i it involves administration of a drug which some practitioners don't feel comfortable committing that patient to. So we would actually pre treat these patients with an anti rythnic drug and then refer for electrical cardioversion.
