Is There a BRICS Currency?

The stock of the BRICS countries making up their own basket currency is interesting, but it also isn't probably as apocalyptic as Alex seems to be making it out to be. The US holds due to that, but they still have a huge way to go to catch up to where the dollar is in terms of international holding. So yeah, Alex has not much of a handle on this story and he doesn't actually cover it.
