The Double Mutant Lymphotoxin in Oral Vaccines

The model we sort of used for our oral vaccine was a model that I've been using for a few years. And it's a long-term collaboration between my lab and an oral vaccine lab at Tulane University, run by Betsy Mowern. She makes this double mutant label toxin that is actually in clinical trials right now in humans as an adjuvant for an oral vaccine. This is an incredibly potent vaccine in people and as well in mice. It induces a massive T cell response in the small intestine and a massive IgA response. We were fortunate enough to do a trick that I've done a few times now. We're able to identify the dominant antigens into which
