If planets formed around a big, massive star, there'll be not much chance ofa evolving was only ot enough time before the star exploded. So we would expect that the planets which are most likely to be habitable are those around stars like the sun in the sense that they have a lifetime of billions of years. We don't understand how life began and it's one of the big mysteries for the 20 first century astronomers to solve. It wasn't till about two or two 50 years ago that people realized that theer stars spangled across the vault in heaven were really other suns.
