Are There More Opportunities for Nurses in Informatics?
The first thing I learned in informatics was how to be a nurse. The partnership that we have with our nursing informatics colleagues is paramount. It's finding those things that we can attack together or accomplish together is really key. Nobody wants to be marginalized in any way and I think the ability for us to work together as a team, an interdisciplinary team to really kind of take care of our patients are very important.
