Introduction
As neolithic villages expanded and populations grew, it was necessary to cultivate more crops and livestock. This would have required large scale co operation of the likes required to construct the largest megalithic monuments. Oxen were believed to have been exploited for their natural power as humans recognized that an oxen could easily pull a sled of resources. Further to this, humans would have been domesticating horses to serve the same purpose in areas such as the urasian steps.
