Prior to 1979 with when the shaw was in power Um, he actually made it illegal to wear hijab out in public. He didn't want people to be wearing wearing their heads covered because he wanted the country to become more westernized. When they rose up in 1979 and Austed him and and started that revolution It was also for religious freedom So it's like It's two sides of the same coin is what i'm trying to say  is that You know a lot of the women who are reporting from iran they'll come out and say i wear hijab because it's my choice And i want it to be a choice that's offered to all women if they don't want to
