The Big Rewrite - The Biggest Mistake I've Made

The biggest mistake is people thinking that, hey, if we just rewrite this thing, we will solve all the problems we used to have. People run into a long logs where they'reow, they've committed to therewrites. They've sunk the cost fallacy of saying, i have to rewrite. So these projects end up getting cancelleda people get fired. Ah, and then the business is still stock with this old mono lift that is increasingly finding a hard time to maintain. And it still needs to make money and evolve in an ever changing world.
