Transexamic Acid in Trauma

The uptake of tranexamic acid in trauma systems has varied around the world. In the UK, it was fast-tracked into the NHS following the crash two trial results and became standard practice very quickly. That's not the case in much of the rest of the world. The graph here through the map of North America is 2021 data that simply demonstrates which states had tranexamic acid built into their EMS protocols.
