Trend Following Is Not Good Enough
There's at least two kinds of stuff. One is the ideas that I've mentioned before, pattern recognition, carry trade,. short term, chain reversion and things like that to improve your trend following portfolio. The other stuff, like trend following is not good enough. You got to add the other stuff. So people don't think it's necessarily a pejorative. you talk about European CTA's having trend following plus other stuff.
