Proof of stake means, if you have large sums of the coin, then you have a greater control over what is permitted to be added to the block chain. Whereas proof of work is your computers competing to solve a math problem and whoever has sort of the best compute wins. "I think that that's kind of more inherently american in its logic," he says.
