The remains of 215 children, including some as young as three, were found in a mass grave on the grounds of a former residential school. The schools were once part of a nation wide effort to separate indigenous children from their families in an attempt to assimilate them. In two thousand 15 a national centre for truth and reconciliation report estimated that more than a hundred and 50 thousand children attended these schools,. More than six thousand died, never returning home. So we have a case, again, of a genuine conspiracy, genuine government corruption, genuine institutional child abuse.
