The Myth of the American Sleepover
A clip from 2014's It Follows this film directed by David Robert Mitchell who also penned the script and starring Michael Munro, Keir Gilchrist, Olivia Lacardi, Lilysepe, Daniel Savato and Jake Weary. The idea for what would become it follows originally came to him courtesy of a recurring nightmare that he was having when he was young. He wove in a separate thought a separate strand to the film of something being passed on from person to person now people over time have taken that as a metaphor for sexually transmitted diseases as something that underpins it follows.
