The Reorganization of London's Market Places

New markets aren't being legislated to feed these new suburbs they get left behind. One of the big revolutions that has to happen it's something that's spurred on by the fire of London in 1666. Covent Garden was given its official market charter in 1670 and it becomes a real fruit and vegetable and flour selling hub throughout this period. The former marketplaces are moving away from being retail spaces to wholesale spaces.
