Climate Change - I'm a Pessimist

I don't see the united states leading the way on climate change, but i do see humanity overcoming it as an existential threat. I think there is gon be more of a need for global institutions that can sort of coordinate these these effects. And that can obviously take distopian or, you know, more, not utopian, but more in that direction forms. In the shortend, medium term, ie's going to be lots of unnecessary suffering and destruction in the es. But i think ultimately humanity will get it shi together and figured out.
