How do you prove to your board that these things are worth doing or investing more in? It's a trust and it's a credibility that you earn over a period of time. For example, if marketers do the ROI exercises themselves and self-report, I always found that there is a healthy dose of skepticism in the minds of the CFOs and the CEOs.
