When Al Franken was running for the U.S. Senate in Minnesota, he had to answer questions about his time as a SNL writer and drug use. He says people used that information against him when they were doing focus groups on how voters would respond if they knew he told jokes about B.C.ality. "It's hard to not be cynical about politics right? I don't know."
