The Importance of Obedience

We are always in the words of von Balthazar, always in a state of becoming. We see that in the person of Jesus Christ. He learned obedience from what he suffered. And when he was made perfect, this is the reflection on his humanity, and as God, he is perfectly God. So we begin to enter into the state of becoming more deeply as we emerge in the fullness of our manhood.
