What's Your Object?
If i were teaching this in a class, i would begin with a text that had multiple ver or or multiple uno. We know, for instance, we have texts that have come to us from the greeks that we receive in multiple versions through roman editions or sometimes arabic editions. So the question is, what's your object? Ight? W what is your object? The original? How would you reconstruct ut? You're looping back and forth between contextualization and refining of the object. This is something doesn't appear often in the description of the scientific method, but there are things we can know that no one cares about.
