Is There a Relative Risk to Absolute Risk?

The degree to which that risk is meaningful is somewhat dictated by the degree to how different a there some one's diet is. The idea of relative risk to absolute risk, that's going to hinge on the base rate of the disease. Even if you see a 50 % reduction, the absolute a risk reduction is not going to be impressive. It's not a measure of the effectiveness of the of the intervention. All of these approaches are valid and have a place. We just have to understand what we're saying and understanding what we're applying.
