There's research suggesting that people wouldn't want somebody to, as i u said, marry somebody from the other party. And some of this is almost to an extreme. I mean, some people have even asked whether ordinary americans see their political opponents as even fully human. So there are a lot of these almost non political examples of places partisanship and dislike for the other side has quite profoundly affected the way we see the world or others....
