The Importance of Space in Music
I like to be able to picture where people are. Place matters. And I can vividly imagine where this is taking place. You know, the difference between them playing in a gymnasium-sized studio and in a living room, when sound finds limits of walls and ceiling, you know, it's describing space. There's records where some of the energy is understood because of the limitation of the room,. how instruments are colliding.
