Compassion is harder than anything in any of the eight attributes we talk about. Compassion would be actually coming to the hole and saying, oh my god, i have no idea what that feels like,. or, i have been there, but i'm going to get you up. So in the definition of compassion, there's action, and that's the harder piece. It's easy for a lot of us leaders to sit with some one and, wither ninly or disgenuinely, try to understand them. But when it comes to compassion, you not only notice the potential pain or the suffering in the environment, but you actually collabrate with the person to alleviate their

Control is the opposite of caring. And a caring mindset is one of the most important things a leader can possess. In a caring workplace, workers experience lower absenteeism, less burnout and more productive teamwork.

“When we carry a mindset of control, we tend to shrink in our capacity, because we are likely to disconnect from our emotions, so we avoid what's happening with us and what may be happening with other people.
