Are We Going to Trace Our Roots Back to 1776 or French?

At the core of each one of these revolutions was two different views of human nature. The American Revolution saw mankind as fallen, which we see reflected in the way that our government was established and set up. And the French Revolution inspired by Rousseau thought that if we could just create the perfect society with a man who was inherently good would the best we'd come out of that. So we're not going to try, we shouldn't want to try the French Revolution all over again, or the Russian Revolution all overagain, or the Maoist Revolution all over Again.
