The Problem With Pre-Political Inequality
I don't think in either case it's very easy to just get rid of it. Any kind of effort to really change the way people behave is not easy. So if it's bound to the condition, then you need some kind of story about how that condition is going to change. It's hard to think of a way of short of quite radical technological change.
