The Importance of Common Interest in Friendship

Friendship begins out of common interest right. You have to find something that you like apart from yourself. Aristotle is very suspicious that you can have a friendship if you live at a distance. We're willing that we share the divine life and God imparts that to us in such a way that we can become like God's. That we can know him with our own interior knowledge, love him with his own heart. With much success we'll have great success according to our own view.
