The Michael Jackson Media Fenzy

The same day as the CBS exclusive, members of the Jackson family gathered for a press conference. Hundreds of media attendees from around the world would not let them avoid addressing the elephant in the room. Musicians including Lenny Kravitz and REM's Michael Steip seemed to buy into the narrative of extortion. Detective Roosevelt Smith was one of the detectives who worked the case.
