The Criteria for a Just War
In order to prosecute a just war, what things need to be true of the engagement? Sure. So in some ways the core of the just war theory is that political power and coercive power ultimately exist to serve justice as an aspect of the common good community. People who engage in war, people who fight just wars at least, Aquinas says they're not opposed to peace, but they're opposed to as an evil piece.
