How Do We Stop Women's Data Being Used Against Us?
A new law in texas allows people to bring civil cases against abortion providers, or anyone who helps a woman get an abortion. The person bringing the lawsuit is entitled to at least ten thousand dollars in damages if they win their case. Daniel says there's a double standard when it comes to the willingness of law enforcement to even look for digital data in the context of a prosecution. So how do we fix all this and stop women's data being used against them? Some women have tried to confuse the aps by imputting fate data but that doesn't work. Daniel thinks that what we need is a civil right to privacy.
