The PDL1 protein kind of obscurifies the cancers there. It kind of hides it. So PDL1 sort of inhibits the immune response to the tumor, which is kind of the body's way of trying to defeat the cancer. And if you give these drugs, which are antibodies against PDL1 or PDL1, they inhibit the activity of either PD1 orPDL1. That enables the immune system of the patient to really be unleashed and then to work hard in anti-cancer immunity.
