The Soul of Shame
In Romans one to three, Paul defines sin again and again in terms of dishonor or shame. So the big idea is that we are bringing shame upon God's name. We're not making God delay on the couch and feel bad about himself,. But we're socially shame that is, you know, we're bringing ill repute upon his name. And so he saves us from that.
