How Did You Get Into Broadcast Journalism?
Katie Kirk has been a broadcast journalist since she was in the fourth grade. She started an online news magazine when she was at University of Virginia. After working for ABC News and Good Morning America, she became Diane Sawyer's assistant producer before moving to Los Angeles with her husband. Her new show is called "The Cooldown," which premieres Sunday night on PBS stations around the world.
