Product management is a long standing discipline that dates back to the thirties. The first professional group was in the 19 seventies, out of p and g. Product leaders have a very difficult job as they are often at the centre of an organization. They're being looked at from the executive team to deliver on a vision with some not so great information and vague feedback. So i think it's very important to try to be crystal clear with product leadership what their expectations are.
