The next time there's a really significantly distinctive wave of labour organization and some revolutionary militancy is when we leapfrog the first world war. Mass strikes in Italy which workers occupy their workplaces are sort of like general revolutions before 1905. The idea that they should just start to produce stuff but it ultimately fails if it doesn't end up being produced by people who have been working hard for years can be seen as an early sign of things to come.
