The History of Prom

In the American youth it's just too much. It literally does like make or break a bitch. The valedictorian of our school got caught drinking on prom night and they told his parents and he had gotten into Yale. His parents were like super Christian and they made him stay in Texas. This isn't horrible. In the 80s there is a huge resurgence in prom culture which I think for most of us one of the most iconic images of prom is like someone in the 80s prom get up. Um it was still popular in the 90s and then it kind of hit another peak in the early 2000s through media again with movies like She's All That and Mean Girls.
