I can't believe how much of stoicism applies to today's world. I don't think he had any intention or any understanding that would be published. So it's not even the whole philosophy. It's just what he was thinking about and struggling with. The Stoics were talking about like, what do I control in a world that is out of control? What does it mean to be a good person? What should I do and not do? How do I make a positive contribution?"
