Emily and Amy first encountered each other when Emily moved to Decatur, Georgia. They didn't really become friends until later but there was a rather important first impression that you had of each other in terms of music as well. What motivated you both to pick up the guitar specifically as opposed to any other instrument? It just seemed like a great, more kind of a cool instrument, you know.
