Is There a Space Asteroid?

The space being is a five kilometer diameter rock. It has its own elliptical orbit around the sun that sort of inresonance with the earth's. But effectually it's been captured in a very similar orbit to the earth. If it impacts something, or something else comes along and tugs on it, it could change its orbit. And e theory, could come in slowly, could like gently approach the earth's atmosphere.
