The Importance of Beauty

Beauty is the subject matter of a judgment. We can be agnostic as to what it means for something to be in the object and what the object is, right? This is a Kantian framework. It's very easy for Kant to say beauty is in the object because he's a constructivist. So you get this wonderful mix of objectivity and subjectivity in thinking about this whole thing.
