Ray Ray - A Song That Changed the World

The song wasn't popular with Ray's bandmate. Dave thought it was too soft and wimpy, while Quave got annoyed at the time Ray spent in the studio trying to make the opening guitar part sound a bit like a ukulele. It went to number 5 on the chart, their biggest success since tired of waiting for you more than a year earlier. In early 1966 he had a full-scale breakdown, brought on by the flu but really just down to pure exhaustion.
