The story of elijah reviving the widow's son from the dead is constantly referred to in masonic scuttle butt. A and widow's son is often used as a kind of epithet or byword for a freemasont. So if you say things like, will no one help the Widow's son? That's a way for masons to call on each other for help in distress. And so that story is clearly woven in to masonic language.
